Simple card

Well I've found a few greeting stamps in my buttons box! I wonder where I am gonna find the rest.
Here is a simple card made with a stamp that came with the crafting magazine. The colours don't show properly in the picture.

I wanted to make some holes and sew on the white card around the bird but I don't see well enough, specially in the evening when the room is darker.

New card finished today! I have at least found my cutting mat in my daughter's bedroom. I have no idea why it was there.
I made the big flower myself with some thick card. The butterfly as well. The rest are resin flowers, a crochet flower and some pearls.
I said I would do a simple card but I find it hard to find a theme.
I need some inspiration. I also need to visit some crafting blogs and see the lady's work and may be it will give me some ideas.

My card for this week is with Lili of the Valley image that I've had for ages in my stash.
I am searching on eBay for some crafting items, I still haven't decided what to buy, there is so much choice!
I went to Paperwork's and found some fabric flowers.
Some gems from papermania, butterflies from Dovecraft at a really good price.
I had to cut the circles by hand as I don't have any tools, I had to use different size glasses as models.
My cards don't look that professional because of that, so I am hoping to find all I need very soon and on a tight budget!
Anyway, here is my card, hope you like it.

Oh and some lace paper from the capsule collection.
I might do a simple card next time.

Turmeric painted card

Entirely coloured with turmeric and paprika mixed with water.
I made the butterfly myself with some card and backed by a book page. Some black pearls here and there, the sentiment reads: For you but its difficult to see unless you put your nose on it! I've added a bit of glitter on top of the card et voila!

Here is my last card. I am not very good at taking pictures!

I have used all my flowers I had from a long time ago.
I need to buy lots if I want to make the same sort of cards.
I have lost so many things in the moves, even my paper cutter!
I've lost nearly all my stamps as well. My address book and so many other things. It's a long story!
